Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats are a nourishing, easy-to-make breakfast that’s perfect for busy mornings—especially for new moms looking to support their postpartum recovery.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup whole rolled oats

  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey 

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, plus more for topping

  • 1 apple, cored and chopped small

  • 1 cup raw walnuts, chopped

Directions

  • Combine oats, non-dairy milk, chia seeds, maple syrup or honey, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Give it a good stir to distribute the chia seeds throughout the oat mix. 
  • Portion overnight oats using two wide mouth 12 oz jars (with lids). Start by placing a few spoonfuls of the oat mixture in the bottom of each. Then add a layer of diced apples followed by a layer of chopped walnuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Repeat until all ingredients are used up. Top with a sprinkle of chia seeds, walnuts , cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon maple syrup on each.
